In the heart of Salerno stands our production facility, a 12,000 m² area where tradition and innovation come together to create superior-quality coffee. The architecture recalls the colors of coffee: the deep brown of the beans and the creamy beige of cappuccino, symbols of our passion.

The Tower

A 22.5-meter tower rises above the facility, housing 36 silos for raw and freshly roasted coffee. This system ensures the freshness and quality of our beans, ready to be transformed into unique blends.


Production

We offer a wide range of formats to meet every need: pods, beans, vacuum-packed ground coffee, and compatible capsules. Each package is designed to preserve the aroma and ensure an authentic experience.

The Roasters

Our roasters, with a maximum capacity of about 360 kg per 20-minute cycle, ensure a daily production of 26,000 kg. Each roasting process is precisely monitored to enhance the distinctive aroma and flavor of Caffè Motta.

The Coffee

Every cup of Caffè Motta holds a journey that begins in equatorial plantations and ends with the enveloping aroma of an Italian espresso. Our dedication to quality is reflected in every stage of the process, from the selection of the beans to artisanal roasting.

We carefully select coffee varieties to create balanced and full-flavored blends:
Arabica: grown in South America, Africa, and Asia, it offers a sweet and aromatic taste, with notes of biscuit, honey, and dates.
Robusta: native to West Africa and mainly cultivated in Southeast Asia, it provides an intense and full-bodied flavor, with chocolate accents and a dense crema.

Coffee roasting represents the core phase of our production, the moment when green beans are transformed into true treasure chests of aroma. We heat the beans to temperatures between 180°C and 205°C, developing intense fragrances and an unmistakable flavor.

Through different roasting intensities, we bring out the distinctive qualities of each blend, offering a unique sensory experience that enhances body, aroma, and persistence in the cup.

Coffee blending is the art of combining raw beans from different species to create unique and balanced aromas. It is a tradition in which Italy excels and that has always defined true high-quality Italian coffee. The composition of the blend aims to achieve the perfect aromatic balance, harmonizing taste, body, and the ideal proportion between sweet, bitter, and acidic notes.
